What to expect
At the House Clinics we provide a comprehensive exercise facility. Our custom designed fitness suite is a purpose built environment designed to allow you to increase your fitness through regular exercise and stretching. All the exercises sessions we offer work ‘1 to 1’ or in small classes of ‘1 to 8’.
Classes are available from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week.

For the Wellbeing Health Talks, Postural Assessments and OR Consultations all we need is a room, we normally work out of several stations and employees book a 10-15-minute appointment or consultation time with the professional they wish.
Ergonomic assessments can also be done, we don’t tell people to buy new desks and chairs, mostly some simple postural advice is and guidance on position of the work station and chair.

Back 2 Health Exercise One to 1
The rehabilitation specialist will have knowledge of your diagnosis and will design a bespoke exercise programme for you taking into account your condition. The exercises are designed specifically to fit into your everyday life, enhance your recovery and prevent a recurrence of your problems and helping you return to your normal activities.
Back 2 Health Back Exercise Classes
A specifically designed exercise programme to strengthen the muscles that support your back. The programme includes:
- Core stability
- Strengthening to improve muscle strength
- Stretching to improve flexibility
- Balance work (proprioception) to improve balance and coordination of the muscles that control the joints
Coordinated muscle contraction reactivates weakened muscles that have been switched off due to your pain and relaxes muscles that have been in spasm.
Kettle Bell Fitness
Kettle Bell exercise is an overall body workout which combines cardiovascular fitness and strength training which helps to burn fat. It develops power in the hamstrings, glutes and the core muscles specifically. Kettle bell training involves lifting and swinging a kettle bell weight that puts the body through functional everyday body movements such as squatting, bending and lifting which therefore works the whole body.
Pilates is series of nonimpact exercises designed to develop core strength, flexibility balance and a relaxed state
It works particularly well to treat and prevent back pain.
What is Pilates and How does Pilates Work
Pilates is a form of strength and flexibility training that can be done by someone at any age and level of fitness
Pilates focuses on the core muscles of the body specifically the transverse abdominus (TA) muscle.
The TA muscle provides structural support to the lower back and spine.
A strong TA improves balance strength and stability when performing simple tasks in life which involve leaning, bending, twisting and lifting actions involved in household chores and gardening.
Sportsman and dancers benefit from Pilates as the core strength allows them to remain controlled and in balanced when playing their sport and are stretching to hit a ball, kicking a football, playing golf or a dancer controlling their poise performing different steps or moves.
Runners also benefit as the stability stops sway and keeps the athlete’s energy moving in the forward direction.
Pilates promotes a feeling of physical and mental well-being and also develops inner physical awareness.
Since this method strengthens and lengthens the muscles without creating bulk, it is particularly beneficial for sportsman and dancers
Pilates is also helpful in preventing and rehabilitating from injuries, improving posture, and increasing flexibility, circulation, and balance. Pregnant women who do these exercises can develop body alignment, improve concentration, and develop body shape and tone after pregnancy. .
Controlling the breath and using the breathing to perform the exercise is of key importance to the Pilates exercise programme.
Yoga works to open, stretch and strengthen the body in a calm and controlled way whilst also quietening the mind to find balance and stillness. The Yoga comes under the umbrella of Raja Yoga drawing from influences of different styles, incorporating detail, clarity and individual ability thereby allowing you to work at your own pace whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner.
We have a specifically designed Garden Studio for Yoga classes for a maximum of 8 people and 1 to 1 sessions are also available. This allows the teacher to be able to focus on individual students and provide guidance, allowing them to find their true beneficial place in each posture.

By restoring normal movement to your joints you remove the strain on ligaments, relieve muscle spasm, improve how the spinal discs function and release nerves that may be ‘trapped’. ‘Trapped’ nerves not only cause pain locally, but can also refer it from the neck to the arm and shoulder or from the back to the buttock and legs. Poor joint movement can lead to early ‘wear and tear’ and osteoarthritis.
